GOTH began as a street performer in the 1980s.
Within the first 3 months, GOTH was 'discovered' by the
national television channels,
as well as Bobby Limb and other talent agencies.

In addition to performance, during the '80s
GOTH's natural talent for creating powerful photographic images was very popular, allowing GOTH to create his own freelance photography business.
GOTH mainly shot fashion and modelling portfolios, ART photos and PR for performers.
In 1993, GOTH moved to USA and based himself in Nob Hill, San Franscisco.

In JAPAN, GCG TRANSLATIONS has recently translated Dr Nobuo Kurokawa's book in Japanese called Anxieties are Treasures into English. The new title is PHOBIA POWER! [see below]. GCG also COMPLETELY RE-DESIGNED the book and added FULL COLOUR ILLUSTRATIONS [designed by GOTH Carter at GCG DESIGN].
GCG DESIGN created the COVER, ILLUSTRATIONS and GRAPHS.
GCG PHOTO took the photos used in the book [and on the COVER].
GCG PUBLISHING published the book on Amazon Kindle.

In 1998 GOTH flew to Tokyo, Japan from San Franscisco USA to shoot Shizeru Ohtaka's music cd cover.
Subsequent trips to Japan [from San Fransisco] saw him shooting performance photos for ISHINHA in Osaka for magazines and ISHINHA's book.

In 2003 he created his own company, which includes a professional section as well as a school. The company is GCG.
