Now that I have a 'taste' for FIRE CAFE and patrons, I am really looking forward to performing:
Also, some of the requested songs and performers last gig:
JETHRO TULL SONGS.
LED ZEPPELIN - GOING TO CALIFORNIA [in OPEN G TUNING] and STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN. etc...
Plus both quieter finger picking songs and medium and high energy toe tappers.
My original arrangement of the Eagle's HOTEL CALIFORNIA was really appreciated by the audience!
There was intense and energetic DANCING by some of the audience [and TROY one of FIRE CAFE's bar tenders] to Marvin Gaye's I HEARD IT ON THE GRAPEVINE, James Brown's I FEEL GOOD, Billy Joel's YOU MAY BE RIGHT, Jethro Tull's LOCOMOTIVE BREATH, Doobie Brother's LONG TRAIN RUNNING, Beatles' WHEN I SAW HER STANDING THERE [thanks to the English girl who sang her heart out on that one!]
Simone is quite an excellent chef!
The pasta bolognaise he cooked for me last gig - with home made pasta and shredded Aussie beef in a tomato sauce was 'buono mangara!' [delicious food!].
Enough musical theory
to give you control
over what you want to play.
