HARMONY BAR is a lovely small bar with a warm vibe, run by Bobby [USA]. 

FINALLY !

I had been struggling to get the strong clean live sound I hoped for. After making some core changes to my sound setup, FINALLY - 'it's all good!'. Very happy with the high quality and clear sound at the gig! 

Saturday October 29th was FULL of venues having HALLOWEEN parties and Halloween theme based performances. So my gig started with a smattering of people. 

However, this allowed me to perform the open tuning blues songs including a slide guitar song, plus some other popular light sing-a-long songs. The lady [with her friend] who could speak good English and said she 'loved music' really got into my songs, including the lesser known blues in Set 1. She was DANCING ON THE SPOT' in the 2nd set.

During the 2nd set more people cruised in until HARMONY BAR was almost full. HARMONY is a quite small, but a nice warm atmosphere, which I was able to HEAT UP substantially with lots of requested '60s-'90s ROCK! 

Thanks to Michael the bar staff last night who REALLY GOT INTO MY MUSIC - DANCING AROUND behind the bar as he served drinks and food. 

James Bond's vodka martini would have not only "shaken" but ROCKED and definitely VERY stirred. 

3 lovely ladies arrived during my setup and stayed until I left after the gig. I of them had come to my previous show, and brought her friends.HUGE THANKS for your support and energy. 

Likewise Mark and wife who arrived late, but had also come to my last show. Happy to have been able to do Marks perennial request of Beatles' COME TOGETHER. Several other audience had come back for more of my music. THANKS EVERYONE!! 

Bobby Brown also arrived during Set 2 to help with the drink and food orders and to pass my TIP JAR around. [That's IMPORTANT, yo!!]

MR JELLYROLL BAKER also open tuning high energy blues. [My inspiration for this song is JOHN MARTYN's version, but his is in normal tuning]

Eric Clatpon's CHANGE THE WORLD put us back into the Land-of-the-Well-Known-Songs.

COUNTRY ROAD [JOHN DENVER] was really enjoyed and sung well by all!

Likewise, STAND BY ME [Ben E. King] was sung by all - even my original arranged COUNTER POINT CHORUS!! GOOD JOB EVERYBODY!

I finished SET 1 with TAKE IT EASY [EAGLES] which blew their socks off and prepared them somewhat for my HIGH ENERGY 2nd SET..... [I could see some people bracing themselves. Ha ha!]
